{"id":198,"date":"2016-09-20T08:34:26","date_gmt":"2016-09-20T08:34:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cmat.utad.pt\/?page_id=198"},"modified":"2023-09-26T11:18:24","modified_gmt":"2023-09-26T11:18:24","slug":"cmat","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/cmat.utad.pt\/?page_id=198","title":{"rendered":"ABOUT US"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Since 2015, Polo CMAT-UTAD is a Pole, at the University of Tr\u00e1s-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD), of the centre <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cmat.uminho.pt\">CMAT <\/a>which is a research unit of University of Minho (UM).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CMAT\u2019s research activity is developed within the main goals of its research Groups:<br>\nAlgebra, Logic and Computation (ALC); Analysis and Applications (ANAP); Geometry, Topology and Applications (GTA); Statistics, Applied Probability and Operational Research (SAPOR);.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cmat.uminho.pt\">CMAT<\/a> has a strong double commitment: on the one hand it aims to develop and promote scientific research in the field of Mathematics, both in its theoretical and applied aspects, and on the other hand it seeks to stimulate the application of Mathematics in other academic disciplines, such as Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Health and Environment Sciences, and also the interaction with the society as a whole.
